I’m not even mad about storing notes in a database. Trilium does that and it hasn’t failed me yet (over the course of ~2 years since I started abusing it). But it uses SQLite, sitting right there on your hard drive. Postgres + Redis in containers is significantly more moving pieces than self-hosted notes might need.

Made Python code suggestions and have the itch to refine those suggestions. But thankfully my warning system recognizes any further would make the code more clever and less readable. Bad.
