Always grateful to @IamMrsGeek for printable and unprintable reasons.

I suppose technically they’re printable depending on your device’s UTF-32 support.

But I’m not going to figure out the Compose key chords for them.

anyways yeah just my turn for the intermittent announcement that I love @IamMrsGeek

A youth on the save icon:

“I always thought it was a book with a bookmark in it.”

And damn if that isn’t a much better, more persistently meaningful, metaphor for document save than a floppy disk.

Tried out the Whiteboard feature for Logseq. Didn’t like it. But brain insists on capturing and processing most of its thoughts in Logseq, so I’m going to keep trying for those projects and concepts that benefit from visual processing.

I’m aware of how much privilege I get thanks the whole “straight enough white enough dude enough” but every once in a while I still chafe against the sharp edges of privileges that don’t apply, like “financially secure enough.” Assumptions made in a conversational context are just “nope must be nice I guess?”

No details because honestly it’s evergreen.

“Oppositional Defiance Disorder” which I called “Authority Defiance Disorder” when trying to recall the name off the top of my head, which I then also called “whatever they tag it when you can’t help telling authorities they’re full of shit” which might also tell you roughly how I feel about behaviors diagnosed as disorders from the vantage point of the status quo.

next question I have for myself: is an animated icon in the corner of my workspace less distracting than an “Ask AI” prompt in the corner of my workspace, or more distracting?

Given it’s five minutes since I opened that page and I forgot to read its contents, I’m gonna go with “more.”

TFW you accidentally solve a code puzzle by setting application-wide log level to DEBUG.

“Oh here’s the problem being logged in this dependent library.”
